Social impacts of climate change mitigation policies and their implications for inequality

Climate Policy journal has published in March 2019 “Social impacts of climate change mitigation policies and their implications for inequality”, a synthesis article based on research prepared for the  COP21 RIPPLES project.

Authored by Sanna Markkanen and Annela Anger-Kraavi (CISL, University of Cambridge), the article assesses the complex social and inequality impacts of climate change mitigation policies and both co-benefits and adverse side-effects, and how the negative implications of these decisions can be addressed.

The open access article is available at the journal’s website.
