Climate Analytics is a non-profit climate science and policy institute based in Berlin, Germany with offices in New York, USA and Lomé, Togo, which brings together interdisciplinary expertise in the scientific and policy aspects of climate change. The Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) is a non-profit research institution established in 2005, with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea (MATT), the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies (MIPAF) and the Ministry of Finance (MEF), thanks to funding from the Integrative Special Research Fund (FISR), within the National strategic Programme for Research.
The National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), is a public organisation under the responsibility of the French Ministry of Education and Research. Founded in 1939 by governmental decree, the CNRS aims to: Evaluate and carry out all research capable of advancing knowledge and bringing social, cultural, and economic benefits for society; contribute to the promotion and application of research results; develop scientific information; support research training; and participate in the analysis of the national and international scientific climate and its potential for evolution in order to develop a national policy.

The Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) is a non-profit policy research institute based in Paris. Its objective is to determine and share the keys for analyzing and understanding strategic issues linked to sustainable development from a global perspective. IDDRI helps stakeholders in deliberating on global governance of the major issues of common interest: action to attenuate climate change, to protect biodiversity, to enhance food security and to manage urbanisation. The Institute for European Studies (IES) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is an academic Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and a policy think tank that focuses on the European Union in an international setting. The IES advances academic education and research in various disciplines, and provides services to policy-makers, scholars, stakeholders and the general public.
The IES specifically explores EU institutions, policies and law within the context of globalization and global governance, including a focus on the EU in international affairs and institutions. Disciplines applied include law, social/political sciences, economics and communication sciences. Activities focus on the various ways in which institutions, law and politics intersect with each other in the EU, its member states and at the international level.
